Minimalism, Determinacy, and Human Rights

چکیده

According to a widely-shared view, human rights encompass very limited range of ethical concerns: not all interests, only urgent interests; 1 our preferences, needs; 2 wrongs, severe injustices; 3 good life in the fullest sense, but minimally decent or autonomous life. 4 In short, are about realizing best, they shielding us from worst. I will call this general theoretical stance Minimalism .
